Luke Pilfold-Thomas
Co-Founder
Luke’s entrepreneurial verve was there from an early age, opening his school’s first mobile tuck-shop. He worked full-time during his undergraduate degree, winning various contracts providing technology solutions to tax, investment, utilities, telecommunications and marketing enterprises.
For over 10 years, Luke has viewed technology as a strategic pillar to any company wishing to deliver satisfaction to employees and customers alike. He’s passionate about developing new and exciting products, as well as helping organisations realise the advantages and benefits of leveraging emerging digital technologies to solve intricate, everyday problems that help increase efficiency and maintain a competitive edge.
Luke is a tutor and advisor in his free time, mentoring young students, guest lecturing, and helping small businesses and communities run socially sustainable projects. He also serves on the board for TechSkills, a not-for-profit organisation helping young people get into technology. Luke has also recently completed his MBA through Lancaster University and is also an enthusiastic musician and Birmingham City FC fan.
Fun fact: As well as being fluent in French, Luke is also a published author.

Lee Turver
Co-Founder
Lee started out in his career as a web developer, and has rapidly rose to become a business founder and all-round, full stack technology specialist. He has been commercially involved in the technology industry for over 15 years, with his experience honed through developing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise-grade infrastructure and technical solutions.
Lee has shown throughout his journey that technology is not his only expertise. As a former chief technology officer, Lee has strong people skills, demonstrated through his successful leadership of large development teams, and his relationship management of senior stakeholders, to deliver on clients’ visions in both project and product contexts.
Lee is versed in a range of development languages, methodologies and frameworks. He has perfected these skills through his vast experience developing solutions for a range of industries and sectors. In many cases, he has operated as the technical visionary turning client’s ideas into multi-million-pound companies.
Away from work, you will find Lee and his young family attempting to tire out an energetic Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in the countryside; rumour has it he occasionally pulls on a Manchester United shirt too!
Fun fact: Lee built the first ever personalised card platform using cutting edge HTML5 technologies, replacing Flash player, which is now an industry standard.

Khaled Kaloo
Technical Director
With over 8 years in technical leadership roles, Khaled has close to 15 years’ experience in the software development industry. Khaled works closely with the Executive team to lead technical direction of the software development department, as well as delivering a range of small and complex projects in-line with business needs.
Khaled started off developing web applications alongside studying for his Computer Science degree at university. Upon completion of his studies, he started developing mobile iOS applications in Objective C, which led him into the world of bespoke application development.
As a certified Scrum Master, Agile Coach and Agile Team Facilitator, Khaled considers himself somewhat of an Agile evangelist, constantly striving for continuous improvement.
Fun fact: Khaled started boxing at the age of 12 with 26 amateur bouts under his belt.

Kurtis Hardy
Development Lead
Kurtis is our Development Lead and has a keen eye for process improvement especially when it comes to enhancing automation to remove duplicate tasks, save time and reduce costs. He works collaboratively with clients to address their business challenges, taking ideas from concept through to development and training before they are embedded as BAU.
Since completing his undergraduate degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, Kurtis has delivered successful software projects many sectors including finance, retail, customer service and market research, for which he moved to Canada. He settled very happily across the pond and experienced the operational differences and cultural variants.
He is passionate about DevSecOps and was delighted to pass on his insights with enthusiasm to a hundred-strong audience at ‘Agile Manchester’ in 2016. He included a compelling case study outlining how he reduced a client’s multi-million pound e-commerce site deployments globally from 24 hours down to just 60 minutes.
Fun Fact: Kurtis has been playing squash for 8 years and plays for his local team weekly in the Northwest Counties Squash League

Danielle Kett
Product Lead
Danielle has been working in software development for close to a decade in a variety of different areas including; help desk support, user experience improvement, solution design, product ownership, and system implementations. With experience delivering a large variety of applications and systems within a wide range of sectors, such as; health and community care, training and education, trades and services, payroll and finance, and recruitment, Danielle is able to effectively engage with all stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for your business. Danielle is a change champion who has a passion for assisting businesses to work efficiently and ensure that technology is being used to its full potential.
Danielle works closely with our Account Management and Support Teams to ensure that our systems meet our customers business needs and requirements, while guiding our Development and Product Teams to ensure that all features are developed according to specifications and tested prior to release.
Danielle is originally from Australia, and has been in the UK for 3 years now. Dani has as passion for travel having travelled to 42 countries, enjoys cooking Thai food, and plays in a Netball team.
Fun fact: Took a 2-year career break to do a 28,000km road trip around Australia

Michael Hodgson
Customer Success Lead
Michael is the Customer Success Lead within WeDo: Digital, with a career history focussed heavily within the IT industry and customer service. From starting out in apprenticeships, and through every job since, the primary goal is to deliver and commit to the highest quality of service.
Michael has had experience working within and leading established support teams, and also building them from the ground up. He holds ITIL v4 certification and is MCTS and MCSA certified. Leading the support team, Michael works closely with account and project management teams, as well as our technical development team to make sure we have the best quality delivered to our clients.
Fun fact: Loves dogs, and owns 3 of them

Mick Greaves
Delivery Lead
Mick is the project management and delivery lead within WeDo: Digital, with a background in product design/engineering, innovation and sustainability. Previously, Mick has successfully implemented production methodologies and tooling, benchmarked against BSI and EU standards, the outcomes of which led to increased sales and factory output alongside improved quality, innovation and safety.
Through broad industry experience, Mick holds a passion for helping instil culture, process and practices to help organisations move towards a ‘commercial orientation’. Mick will work closely with your organisation to identify, specify, and implement project management metrics around desired timescales, cost and quality. Mick has been practicing professional project management, design and engineering for 10 years now, having studied Product Design as an undergraduate followed by recent completion of an MBA at Lancaster University. Mick’s interests and hobbies include mountaineering, air-sports, biking and running.
Fun fact: Mick owns more parachutes than pairs of shoes

Chris Robinson
Non-Executive Director
Chris has operated as a Managing Director across financial services and recruitment for more than 10 years. Chris has grown several businesses successfully through his extensive industry knowledge and sector experience. Over the years, Chris has developed lasting relationships with clients through his proactive approach to business, which saw his work recognised as one the top 10 fastest growing business within Yorkshire.
Chris has been instrumental in shaping WeDo Group’s wider business processes, commercial models and go-to-market strategy. He has done so through developing a loyal client base, as well as the close recruitment and development of all staff members, promoting an outstanding company culture and team structure.

Mark Lindsay
Chairman
Mark Lindsay is the Founder and Chairman of the WeDo Group. He has a sharp mind, a passion for supporting clients and over 20 years of experience in the industry.
Mark has held many senior roles, more recently as a Managing Director of Bibby Trade and International Trade Finance. Mark’s career path included Managing Director for IGF along with managing teams, clients, and risk within the SME sector. Mark has been instrumental in business growth, client satisfaction and inspiring people to be the best they can be.
Fun fact: Mark missed 2 penalties in the same game when playing at Old Trafford.
